Eric Godin – Racquet Club Director

Our racquet club director hails from Montreal, Quebec. He has been a tennis professional with decades of experience as a coach, head professional, supervisor, manager, and professional ATP player, inducted into the Quebec Tennis Regional Hall of Fame. Eric has managed and trained staff, ladies teams, junior tennis programs of all levels, and organized adult clinics and events. Some of Eric’s most noteworthy accomplishments are:

7 time Canadian Junior National Champions in Doubles and 1 time in Singles; National Father and son Champions; Coach on ATP Tour from 2002 – 2006 USPTA Elite Professional; Level 3 certification with Tennis Canada, including proficiency in sports science, nutrition, fitness, psychology and injuries.

 

 


Dean Papakonstantis – Pickleball Director

Dean Papakonstantis is an experienced pickleball coach and director who is passionate towards creating fun pickleball experiences while helping people take their skill levels to the next level and beyond!

As a coach and director, Dean has taught lessons and clinics throughout multiple indoor facilities as a head pro and directed pickleball at multiple country clubs throughout Long Island, NY and NYC the past two years. In addition, he taught in Antigua in November 2024 for a ladies pickleball getaway experience. Throughout the past summer, he played in pro exhibitions and taught clinics after the exhibitions at Bay Head Yacht Club on the Jersey Shore and Westhampton Beach Tennis & Sport. Dean also led an eight week pickleball program for juniors throughout the past winter, implementing his experience and knowledge from being a middle school & high school Social Studies teacher for six years and coaching various high school sports.

As a coach who is continuing to build upon his playing skills to improve his coaching abilities, Dean has earned prize money in six open level (5.0+) prize money tournaments throughout the northeast region consistently finishing in the top 30% in over fifteen open level prize money tournaments in the past two years. Moving forward, he will competing in some PPA & APP pro qualifiers as well as representing Greece in the Pickleball World Cup. His official DUPR rating is a 5.47.
In sum, Dean is a highly experienced coach who is looking forward to spread his knowledge and passion to contribute to a vibrant, energetic pickleball community at Seven Bridges!

 

Matt Braunworth – Assistant Tennis Director

Our Assistant Director of Tennis is named Matt Braunworth. Matt, a local Palm Beach County resident for his whole life, has managed to carve out a remarkable list of accomplishments in his career.

Matt was ranked in the Top 10 Juniors in Florida while playing in the 18 & under Singles. During that time frame, he managed to win a National Championship! Matt played college tennis at FAU, which is NCAA Division 1 in tennis. While at FAU, he earned “Player of the Year.” (even more notable, while a freshman) Matt worked as a teaching pro at Woodfield Country Club for 10 years. His experience includes working with teams, adults, & juniors. He was also in charge of a high performance junior program. Matt is a certified USPTA pro.

 


 

 

Carlos Claverie – Pro

Carlos Claverie hails from Venezuela and has quite the extensive tennis background. While growing up in Venezuela, he won many National Junior Titles. He became a pro player and attained #1 ranking in his country for 5 years and played Davis Cup for 12 years. Carlos reached an ATP high of #290 ranking. He went on to become the tennis director for 15 years at Altamira Tennis Club, in Caracas. He worked with players of all levels, ranging from kids and club players, to internationally ranked junior players, and ATP ranked pro players. Carlos also served as Davis Cup captain for Venezuela. Before joining us here at 7B, Carlos was one of the main coaches at Evert Tennis Academy for 2 years.

 


 

 

Zack Quigley – Pro

Zack Quigley joins us with quite an extensive background. As a player, he was the National Champion in the Gator Bowl’s 2008 boys 16’s singles, and Florida Open’s boys 16’s doubles. Zack was in the Top 10 in boys 16 & under singles in Florida. As a teaching pro, he spent 10 years at Saddlebrook, with considerable experience in the junior academy, as well as the adult camps. He has worked with several top ITF juniors, touring professionals and NCAA collegiate athletes. Zack served as a practice partner for Jennifer Capriati and Martina Hingis. He was also a travel coach for competitive juniors in the ITF junior tour. 

 


 

 

Ashley Vielma – Pro

Ashley Vielma comes to us from from teaching tennis in Burlingame, CA, for children and adults. She moved to South Florida to play on the FIU tennis team, in Miami, a nationally ranked Division 1 collegiate tennis team. She has been pursuing a degree in International business, where her mastery of three languages will be useful! Most recently, Ashley has been serving as a tennis pro at Crandon Park, on Key Biscayne. She works with adults and children of all levels, doing private and group lessons. 

 


 

 

Amy Williams – Front Desk

Amy Williams has been working at the front desk for 7B tennis for 3 years. She is a former high school dance teacher, who retired after 32 years in the Broward County School System. Amy’s love of tennis started when she was young, as she played junior ETA tournaments in the NJ/NY area. She has also worked for the Delray Beach Open as the choreographer for their promo group, the VolleyGirls.
